The four piece band out of Denver, Thee Dang Dangs are, as they describe themselves, a “Psych Surf Garage Rock band. Thee Dang Dangs are a delightful fusing of fuzzy surf guitar riffs, and reverb-heavy psychedelic vocals by frontlady Rebecca Williams. Their sound conjures up images of dirty bums wandering around on Venice Beach in the 60s in a hazy search for something heavier to cave in droopy eyelids.”
Their album For the People was released this past August and I think it truly does capture the 60’s surf/beach vibe. The band members are Rebecca Williams – Guitar/Lead Vocals, Ray Koren – Guitar and Scott Gervais – Drums.
