Well, as of 8:00 pm Mountain Standard Time, the world did not end. I’m sure there are many people who are disappointed. Why do we get caught up in all of these “predictions” of doomsdays? Predictions of the world’s end have been around since man has been around. Are we that eager for the world to end? Is it because we really don’t know when the end will occur that we latch on to every prediction that comes around? Does it really matter when the world will end? Live every day as it will be your last. Appreciate family and friends everyday, tell them how much they mean to you. Help you neighbor or someone in need. All the cliches are true, don’t put off til tomorrow the things you want to do. If you live for today, then if the world does end you will have lived a full life.
Tomorrow we will wake up and continue our lives. The question is how will we live the rest of our life. Will we worry about the next doomsday prediction, or just enjoy the time we have?
