The LA based duo of Will Carpenter (guitar and vocals) and Dan Hange (bass) make up the group Ships Have Sailed. The alternative pop-rock group debuted their first EP Someday in 2014. After touring the East Coast they began piecing together their first full-length album Moodswings which was released this year.
The group had a track called “Midnight” included in the film BRAND: A Second Coming, a film that follows comedian/author Russell Brand. The group also performed at this past SXSW in Austin TX.
The 11 track album Moodswings is an excellent album, one that I listened to several times already today. My favorite song off the album is “You Should Know” although “Drive” is a close second.
