Ok I really didn’t win the jackpot , heck didn’t even gamble. I was able to meet some family members in Tunica Mississippi this evening for dinner. Tunica sure has changed a lot since I last visited. It has been a good six or seven years since I last was in Tunica. The casinos are not doing well, the crowds aren’t there anymore. At least one of the casinos has shut down. This small town by the river that boomed overnight from the casinos may have seen her last hurrah.

I used to stay at Harrah’s, but it’s closed. Hollywood used to be a favorite, but it’s dying.
Sam’s Town which is where I was, it was not very busy. I easily parked right next to the front door. The second floor of the casino was closed off. Hard times in Tunica that is for sure.
