Rush

No this post is not about Getty Lee and the group out of Canada, it’s about an observation. Why are we in such a big rush? Every time I have gotten on the elevator at the hotel this week and someone else gets on, they have hit the close door button. Really, like the extra seconds you wait for the doors to close on their own will cause such trauma in your life.

This is not the first time I have seen this, and not the only example of people in such a rush. Let’s all slow down, smell the roses as the saying goes. The extra seconds you may or may not gain, in the long run, probably is not going to make any difference.

I blame it on mobile technology. We spend all our extra travel time stopping to check our phones, phabs and tablets – looking up movie times and watching cat videos. It makes us late for everything!

    Not kidding 😉

I think we are all now living in turbo mode! I miss the days of slow strolls…
