It’s Sunday. The vacation has come to an end. Technically it ended Friday January 2nd, but because I worked from home that day and I only had a few reports to complete it felt like a vacation day. All that ends Monday, back on the road I go. I’m trying to get in the “back to work” frame of mind but it is difficult to do.
Why is it always hard to go back to work after a vacation? Is not part of the purpose of a vacation is to rest, relax, and “recharge the batteries”? The problem for me is I am not resting on vacations, I am to busy doing other things. I hate wasting my vacation sitting around.
Stuart Scott passed away today, unless you watch ESPN you may not know who he is, he was one of the anchors of SportsCenter He was 49 and passed away from cancer. I enjoyed watching him on SportsCenter he seemed to always come up with different catchphrases that were fun. Sad to hear that cancer took away another individual, hopefully soon a cure will be found.

Getting back into the work groove is always hard after a vacation. I often need a vacation from my vacation 🙂 It is sad to hear about Stuart Scott.
