The Grape and The Grain

Daniel Grimsland started The Grape and The Grain in 2012 as a solo project, but after releasing his debut album Better Keep Digging, he realized the need for musicians and collaborators. Daniel recruited some friends, Jacob Kolbinski (Guitar, Vocals, Lap Steel), Josiah Smith (Bass, Vocals), David Kolbinski (Drums, Vocals), and Steven Markota (Percussion, Vocals) to join the group. The group released their self titled album this past month. Their sound is described as a melding of blues, folk and hard rock elements.
