I can see for miles and miles and miles

Spent Saturday hiking Devil’s Head trail which is between Denver and Colorado Springs. The trail leads to a fire lookout still used by the National Forest Service during fire season. The trail is 1.4 miles to the fire lookout, than you must go up 143 steps to reach the lookout itself, oh and by the way elevation at the top is over 9,700 feet above sea level. Once you make it to the top, the views are spectacular. You truly can see for miles and miles at the top.

Lovely. I look at Devil’s Head from my home in Franktown. I must take time to climb it. Great shots.
