From Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Arkells formed eight years ago. The groups 2008 debut album, Jackson Square, earned the band a Juno Award for ‘New Group of the Year’. The Arkells’ sophomore album, Michigan Left, was released in 2011 and the group performed at the Grey Cup in Vancouver, and shortly after, in April 2012, won the Juno Award for ‘Group of the Year’. The groups most recent release is High Noon, it was recorded in Hamilton Ontario and released in August. The members of the band are: Nick Dika, Mike DeAngelis, Tim Oxford, Max Kerman, and Anthony Carone.
