Reno Divorce, a group out of Denver has been voted the best punk band in Denver for three years running now by Westwood Magazine. Members of the group are Brent Loveday on lead guitar and vocals, Johnny Crow on bass, Tye Battistella on rhythm guitar and Ruben Patino on the drums mix rock, punk, and “rockabilly swagger” Lover’s Leap, the group’s most recent album was released in December 2012. After listening to the album it is easy to see why this group has been named best punk band in Denver the last three years. The hard charging take no prisoners sound was refreshing to hear, a good change of pace from the sugary pop heard on radio today. This is an album you want to put on when you want the world to get lost.
