Just some updates on artists/groups I have written about in the past or that have been featured on Front Range Radio
Katey Laurel has released the first single off her upcoming CD Periscope. The single “Hurricane” was released a couple of weeks ago. The CD is due out early 2014.
The group Chaser Eight has been hinting about a new EP to be released the end of the month. Hopefully the hints are true. In the meantime the group has also released a couple of videos this month for songs off their current EP Up and Up. The videos can be found on YouTube.
Roswitha is having her official Destiny CD release party on November 18th at the Metropolitan Room in New York City. If you will be in the area you may want to check it out. You can get tickets by going to her webpage http://www.queenrosemusic.com
Vicki Logan is working on a new CD, with a target release in January of 2014.
Andy Palmer took second place with his song “Grrr” and Lisa Bell took third place for her song “Bring the Love” in Folk/American category of the Colorado Music Business Songwriting Contest. Speaking of Andy he has recently released a video for the song “Broke Down in Bellevue” and last month released a video for the song “The Monk” both are off his Hazard of the Die CD that was released this spring. The Prairie Scholars have released Live Wires 2 a collection of live recordings from the year of shows after the release of the CD Wasteland Ramblings in 2012
One final note, Front Range Radio will be back to its normal one hour broadcast this Sunday at 9pm Eastern.
