That quote at the top of the group Erland’s web page http://www.erlandmusic.net I think is a really powerful quote. The group out of California, released their debut album On Our Side in February of 2013. The theme, for me, from the album was about relationships and life
The group is composed of Erland Wanberg, Mike Moon on bass, Nate Keezer drums/percussionist, and Marko Srdanov on keys and electric guitar, and the album was produced by Andrew McMahon, whom the group has been touring with this spring.
“My Love” is a single from the album. It is a simple love song about one thinking about his love. Great harmonica in the song, a little like Bob Dylan or Neil Young, that I think adds a great touch to the song. Another real good song from the album that I almost like more is “Ain’t Worth the Fight”. A song about the end of a relationship with a great lyric “I’m losing you but I won’t lose sleep tonight, it ain’t worth the fight”
