I heard this group recently and came away impressed with the different sound they create. The group is David Wax and Suz Slezak and multi-insturmentalist Greg Glassman. Their music, as they describe on their website, “fuse traditional Mexican folk with American roots and indie rock to create a Mexo-Americana aesthetic. Combining Latin rhythms, infectious melodies, and call-and-response hollering.”
Their latest CD “Knock Knock Get Up” was released in September 2012 and is available on iTunes. Check out the video to “Will You Be Sleeping” and listen closely to the music. You have the big horns in the beginning of the song, and the harmony on the chorus, both of which took me away.

Interesting sound, thanks for sharing 🙂
You are welcome, glad you enjoyed them.
“And the bed we shared has lost my shape”. . . what a cool line
