Share Your World 2013 Week 10

If you could be an animal, what would it be?

My first thought was a dog, because mine seems to have the good life. She wakes up, eats, sleeps, eats, sleeps, go outside and bark at the moon, bark at hot air balloons, bark at the vapor trails from airplanes, come back in and sleep. However I wanted to be something more so my answer is a bear. Bears hibernate for the winter so thats several months of sleeping, they are big, have big sharp claws, eat a lot before hibernation time. In case you have not noticed the common theme with both of them is lots of sleeping.

If you had to describe your day as a traffic sign, what would it be?

The answer I really would like to say is this:

Most days really seem to be this.

What was your most memorable birthday?

The most memorable would be a surprise party my family gave me for my “age we shall not reveal”. I kept telling everyone I wanted a party but never thought they would get it together and sure enough they did. It was nothing big or elaborate, but it was nice and I appreciated it.

In what do you find the simplest of joys?

Right now, just watching my two boys playing in their various sports, beyond that watching a movie, or maybe hiking a trail and enjoy the scenery.

Great answers! I have that bear tendency to hibernate all winter too. I wouldn’t mind another couple of months to hibernate this year!

I love your traffic signs….especially the detour. That’s life for sure!!!

  3. Mine would say CAUTION!!! LOL OR YIELD LOL

  4. says:

Though I love dogs, I won’t want to be one. Though I would much love to enjoy life like a pig, I won’t want to be one. Maybe I want to be a bird, an eagle soaring and gliding in the sky.

I’ve always thought hibernation during the colder months was a grand idea. Detours, some days are just like that!
