One of the biggest pet peeves of mine is being on time. I can not stand people who are constantly late. I’m not talking about the once or twice but every single day or week. If something starts at 8 then be there at 8 not 15 or 20 minutes or more later.
Where I go to church the same people are late every single week. The service starts at the same time every single week. I just don’t get it. You know how long it takes to get from your house to the church why can’t you get to the service before 8? Traffic is not that heavy at 8am on a Sunday morning. I understand the every once awhile being late, things happen, but being late every single week. Give me a break.
Ok I’m done ranting and raving, normal programming will resume shortly.
No kidding. I never understand how people can be habitually late.
Me either
People are not always on time, because they feel that others will not be on time, so why come on time! In my places, people arrive late for wedding dinner, because they believe that others will arrive late and because of this, wedding dinner usually starts late at least 30 minutes pass the scheduled time.
Sorry but I just find that disrespectful but I understand different cultures have different opinions
I admit, I am a stickler for being on time. Then again, I am super anal retentive. (I checked to see if my spelling was correct, and that grammatically speaking this was written correctly. Seeeeeee. [Parenthetical tangent within a parenthetical tangent – I know that ‘Seeeeee’ was not quite in keeping with being the anal retentive spelling geek that I can be, but I did that one on purpose, so I think I am okay.] I love tangential thoughts withing thoughts.)
Ok, now I am lost.
Anyway, HIGH-5 for another on-time person.
Thank you glad to hear there is another out there like myself about being on time
