I’m just a shadow on the street
Just moving along with no one to meet.
Another faceless person that blends in with others
I would rather be somewhere else if I had my druthers
I’m tired and no longer wish to fight
I want to move out of the shadows into the light
No longer will I just be another person in the crowd
I’m reaching higher I’m reaching for the clouds
