Ice, Ice, Baby

Sorry if you thought this post would be an ode to Vanilla Ice, it’s not.  It’s about the Cripple Creek CO Ice Festival going on this past weekend and this coming weekend.

Cripple Creek is an old gold mining town and sits an elevation of 9,494 feet.  The main attraction now is the casinos, although there is still one mine you can take a tour of and travel down 1,000 feet into the earth.

However if you really were looking for Vanilla Ice here you go

Looking at the ice sculptures there, temperature there must be maybe around -15 degree celsius !

  3. The sculptures are pretty amazing and the title made me laugh out loud! 🙂

  4. It’s been years since I’ve been to Cripple Creek!! 🙂 Stop, collaborate and listen! 🙂
