What do you see?

I look at you, you look at me, what do we see?
I see one who is beautiful and strong
Something you have refused to believe for so long
The world is not out to get you
I know you don’t believe it, but its true
Life is hard, times are tough
You think you are the only one who has it rough
No one is immune to sorrow, pain or fear
You are not the only one to shed a tear
I look at you, you look at me what do we see
A reflection in the mirror that looks like me
