Training for gluttony

The big feast is two weeks away, yes I’m talking about Thanksgiving. It is time to start preparing. Don’t want to be so stuffed from all the turkey, mashed potatoes, corn etc that I can’t shovel down some apple pie. I think I need to start hitting some all you can eat buffets to get my stomach prepared. Diets, that’s for people who have more will power than me. Two weeks, the clock is ticking, don’t want to offend anyone by not being able to eat their special dish they brought to the meal. Gotta get the stomach in shape, who’s with me? If I can’t pig out one time a year, than when can I? New philosophy this year, treat every Thanksgiving meal as if it will be your last Thanksgiving meal, this way there will be less guilt from the over indulgence. I’m not going to travel across three states, spend 14+ plus hours in the car, just to eat a small helping, come on grandma serve me up another slice. Yes I love Thanksgiving, my body on the other hand, it will remind me or better yet punish me for my over grazing. I guess I really need to stick with the annual resolution to exercise more, longer than the 30 seconds the thought occupies my small brain.
