The Search

I go room to room, searching for something, what it is I don’t know.

I go out the front door  then back in, searching for something, what it is I don’t know

I go out the back door and walk around the yard, searching for something, what it is I don’t know.

I open the pantry, the refrigerator, closet doors, searching for something, what it is I don’t know.

I get in my car drive aimlessly around town, searching for something, what it is I don’t know.

I turn on the TV, scroll thru the guide, searching for something, what it is I don’t know.

I thumb thru my video games, searching for something, what it is I don’t know.

I flip thru the newspaper, searching for something, what it is I don’t know

I repeat the whole process again, searching for something, what it is I don’t know.
