Day is done

It’s Sunday night, the sun has long since disappeared behind the mountains. The house is quite, like the poem not a creature is stirring not even a mouse. The final whistle has blown for football for the day. Now it’s time to prepare for the grind that is corporate America. A new week brings new hopes. I can only hope that each day I make a difference, big or small in someone’s life. That I can be there for friends or family in need even if that need is just a smile, or a reassuring hug.

  2. Sundays can be a downer but thanks for putting a new spin on it.
