I am this tree

I am this tree, all by myself, left to fend on my own by society.

I am this tree, I can and will survive alone if I have to.

I am this tree, the wind and lighting may test me but I will continue to thrive.

I am this tree, I have a very strong base on which to continue my growth, and grow I will.

I am this tree, I will keep reaching higher and higher into the sky for that is my destiny.

I am this tree, high on a hill so that others may see and learn from me if they want.

I am this tree, although I am one, I can still provide shade and comfort to those in need.

I am this tree!!

What a gorgeous photo, I really do want to visit this state! I love the poem, very clearly written, but with so much hidden meaning as well. Thank you for reminding us that while we may be lonely at times, we are never truly alone.
